It feels like Summer still in many ways with the lovely sunshine we are having, however there is a definite nip in the air at the start and end of the day. My garden is in serious need of a tidy. The raised beds need sorting and preparing for Winter, I'm deciding whether to cover them up or maybe plant some green manure - decisions, decisions. The Greenhouse is full of tomatoes going over and rather more weeds than I would like to see! All the flower beds need a good weed and a trim. My Fig tree is slowly engulfing the house... the list of things to do goes on.
However, there is always tomorrow to make a start on these things, so today I just ambled about looking for things that caught my eye. There are still a few things flowering, which is lovely to see, and it's keeping the kitchen table pretty with cut flowers still.
But in the main, seeds are forming and the Autumn is upon us. I love this time of year for the crisper air and the amazing light.
