Another cold and slightly unmotivated week in the garden! However, some work has been done at least :)
The boys have been collecting sticks on our morning walks with Ruby, in preparation for some festive decoration making - well that's the idea. The reality is more like me picking them up while Ruby tries to grab them thinking it's a game of fetch, and the boys doing their best impressions of fighting Knights with their stick swords...
We've done a bit more clearing of dead bits and bobs and Mark made up a fire drum from an old oil drum to have a burn up - think we should have done this a bit earlier in the Autumn as it took a lot to get going as everything is so damp!
Inspired by Annie's Grandad and his lovely neat piles of leaves, I hit the garden with the rake and got busy. Very satisfying until you turn around to see your almost two year old having a great time kicking them all over the place!! Bless him ;-) I've bagged all the leaves up hoping they will mulch down and be re-useable in the garden next year.
That's about it really for this week - I did mean to take my camera out into the fields but will hopefully do that next week as I've not really had a child free day for a while :)
