The third post for my 'Farm Series' - this time giving you a little look at some of the outbuildings around the farm. My Husband's Dad and Grandfather have both farmed here before us, and as well as all the barns and sheds we use on a daily basis, there are a number of old buildings that are no longer really in use, other than for storage.
This Deep Litter is now home to a Dog Training company once a week, so it's good that it's in use. Over time we'd like to repurpose the other ones :)
Mark's Grandfather grew potatoes, and we still have rather a lot of the old chitting crates sitting in one of the sheds. I really should sort through these and repurpose - maybe even sell a few, as they'd make great rustic storage/planters/displays/props etc.
I found this galvanised tub, which I am definitely bringing back to the house - it will be lovely in the garden, I'm thinking maybe with some Mint in it, as I am currently missing that in my herb collection!
