A bit of a random #HDYGG this week! I have been really enjoying lone walks with my puppy, Ruby, recently - I decided to take the camera out with me on our last trot. It's something I have been trying to do a few times a week without the children in tow (love those walks with them as I do!) as it's just nice to have some much needed peace, and a chance to stop and look at things. There seems to be anabsolute expolsion of Blackberry blossom - I am hoping this is a sign of a good year, as my boy's love picking them almost as much as they love eating them! I have a Bramley Apple tree in the garden, so I am also seeing a lot of crumble being made and scoffed! They are already starting to ripen, although not ready yet. Trust me! I thought these Thistles looked rather lovely - such beautiful colours and textures! My husband won't like this picture though, as he has an ongoing battle trying to keep Thistles down on the cow pasture (not winning on this particular patch!) There are so many Bee's and Butterfly's flitting about - it's wonderful to see :) Couldn't resist this Bumble Bee on the Sunflower! Still loving my Sunflowers out at the yurts. So cheerful. I'm a tiny bit in love with the Sunflowers (can you tell?!), and I think they look amazing as they start to unfurl! What an amazing Summer we are having so far. Hoping it lasts for the School Holidays - we have a busy time ahead with the yurts, but hopefully lots of down time in the garden with the children and BBQ's too!
