August has been an amazing month with Will and Tommy. I've been really busy with the yurts, but in between changeover days and farm tours, we have been really busy packing in days out with friends and family. We've had a couple of trips to the beach in Devon - Meadfoot near Torquay, and in these pictures, Dawlish. I loved seeing how much confidence Will has splashing in the shallows now - last year he wouldn't go near the waves, so it was a joy to see :) Tommy, on the other hand, is like Will was last year, and was content digging and exploring in the sand.
Also featuring in our day trips out are Hestercombe Gardens and Fyne Court - both really near where we live, and we are so lucky to have them on our doorstep! My Sister has been away this past week with her Husband for their 10 year wedding anniversary, so my Mum has been looking after my Nieces and Nephews - Will and Tommy have really enjoyed running around in this extended pack - they're going to miss them next week!
There continues to be rather a lot of incompatibility between them for much of the time, but I think it is becoming more and more interspersed with cooperative play, and even laughter! There is hope! Tommy is starting to express himself more and more with words, so I think as he masters language more, there will be more conversation (even if it's a bit argumentative) between them, which can only help in their play? I can't believe that Summer is fading and Autumn is on it's way. I do think it's been a brilliant Summer, and look forward to what September brings x
